Tucson Arizona Engagement | Katie & Taylor

In July of 2014, I had just started my relationship with my now fiancé Michael Lindsay. I flew out from Oregon to visit Michael in South Dakota & Nebraska, when I learned that we had been invited to a little 4th of July get together in a tiny town along some lakes. We drove up and met with Michael's sister and her fiancé Taylor at something that was not a tiny get together at all. In the Midwest, lake parties are huge, and my meager expectations of 4th of July celebrations were about to be blown out of the water. Needless to say it was a classic and awesome introduction to some of my future relatives. Oh how unaware I was just a few years back...

Fast forward to November of 2017. Katie & Taylor now married, live in Arizona. Michael and I are now engaged, live in Nebraska, and it is freezing. What better way to spend the Thanksgiving holiday than visiting family in warm and sunny Arizona? We quickly make plans to schedule an anniversary shoot and before we knew it we were on our way, driving to Tucson.

Up for an adventure and exploration, we decided to check out a location none of us had ever been. We arrived just in time for sunset, and hurriedly rushed around the mission to take advantage of the beautiful architecture while simultaneously avoiding some of the straggling tourists filing out as the mission closed for the evening. Needless to say, Katie & Taylor were hilariously awesome to shoot with. We had way too many laughs as we frantically frolicked about. Here are some of my absolute favorite shots from our quick 1 hour shoot. Thanks for reading and following along! Love!
